BURNING DESIRES

Last week Annie, Lauren and I were finally able to work together to take some photos after re-scheduling so many times. We met up in the afternoon where the sun was shining brightly, and the skies were so blue without a cloud in sight. However, a couple hours later when we decided to finally shoot, we stepped outside and the whole sky was grey with even darker shades of grey in the direction where we wanted to head for the shoot. We had to think quickly because there was almost hardly any light, and it looked like it was going to pour any minute. Annie suggested shooting at a cemetery, even though it was a little spooky because there was not a soul in sight, we managed to take a couple of photos before it started to drizzle. Kudos to Lauren for braving it out in the cold for about fifteen minutes to get these photos!

SILKYBOW x Pandora

Jody from Silkybow and I had planned a shoot for an exciting collaboration with Pandora!! I have always been a fan of Pandora and I love how you can personalise it. Originally, this shoot was planned to be in the city... but at the last minute we decided to shoot at a forest. Little did we know that the forest is actually quite dark... and scary. There was not another person in sight, except for the odd car that passed by down the road. The forest was a little bit different from how I once visited about a year ago during the morning to watch the sunrise. However, both times it was absolutely freezing. And we picked the coldest day in June to shoot - oops!

These are a few photos from the day, and on Jody's blog you can see a few other different ones.

Thank you for reading! See you next time :)

ROOFTOP BLUES

Winter has just started and I already feel like the hours in the day are melting away all too quickly. Nick and I chased the last rays of the sun last week on a rooftop in the city. I always love shooting with Nick because its fun coming up with ideas and chatting along the way. Its been quite a long time since we've done a shoot together with uni and work taking up most of our time. This series is also up on Nicks blog, so please check out Nick's blog for even more photos here
