Winter has just started and I already feel like the hours in the day are melting away all too quickly. Nick and I chased the last rays of the sun last week on a rooftop in the city. I always love shooting with Nick because its fun coming up with ideas and chatting along the way. Its been quite a long time since we've done a shoot together with uni and work taking up most of our time. This series is also up on Nicks blog, so please check out Nick's blog for even more photos here.

I always find it hard to write words to go with photos - sometimes I would have to say it's even harder choosing and editing photos which go well together. So with each blog post I'm going to write a little bit more and hopefully by the end of the year the words will start to flow more smoothly.
During my 5 week break from placement when the sun came out to play and the weather was a little bit warmer, Jody and I decided to head to the hills and take some photos there. Since Jody doesn't live very close to me it was a bit of a road trip for her from my house to the Adelaide hills. We stopped by the Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens and we were blown away by the autumn hues on display. We then decided to head towards Stirling where the streets were dotted with bright red leaves. The air was so crisp that day and the leaves on the ground were so crunchy. I really love Autumn and sometimes wish that Autumn would last a bit longer. We took a few photos there then decided to wait till sunset for the golden glow to take more photos, so we drove around and then came across a field with horses who were suuuuper friendly and they came towards us when they saw us approaching (click here for photos of the horses! You gotta see the horses they're so cute!!). That day we took lots of photos and its always fun collaborating with Jody!
